Summer time has flown in. School is out and our new ventures are keeping us busy but we want to bring back the basics. This month we are bringing back soap making classes and other favorites you love. It seems that this year brings big change after big change. For a person that does not handle change well this has been a challenge however this years changes all seem to be moving business and personal life in the right directions. We will soon be in our office ALONE! I know scary yet good. This allows for growth and more of what you want. In progress a full class schedule and an aromatherapy room plus so much more. Down N Dirty or cleaning division is in full swing and we are pleased to be offering all natural aromatherapy cleaners hand blended just for you!

April showers bring May flowers? I guess that's why I miss the whole month! No April showers. Well in my effort to help others live a more balanced life I took over a cleaning business, Down 'N' Dirty. Let me tell you, my life has been anything but balanced since doing so. The past 2 months have whooshed by and I have no idea what happened to it. I have focused so much on getting that running smoothly that I have neglected other parts of my business. Our car broke down so getting around has been a challenge but we are lucky to have great friends and wonderful landlords to help us out. I think, I hope to have it fixed this weekend, a whole month with out a car has been no good. On the other hand I have improved our families home life with all that extra time at home getting things done I had put off. So see unbalance. However life is good. Here in the desert it is in the 90's already but on the plus side we have tomatoes and peppers already and flowers blooming. Hummers at the feeders and shade from the trees :) With May fast approaching I realized I flubbed on paper work and upkeep so that is my May goal. Returning balance and getting on top of all that went wayside with my newest venture. Buy June everything should be smooth sailing. Here is hoping. I realize that blogging consistently may never be my strong point but keep your eye out I do chime in from time to time :)
As this month started I was made to slow down by a massive sinus infection. During these days I was unable to work and unable to be productive when I tried. However all that time in bed I started to think, could this be my bodies way of telling me to slow down? I finally concluded that yes it was. Well maybe not slow down but yet become more organized in my approach. Simply put going at warp speed without an outline of what you’re doing is INSANE!!!! See even Life Coaches need a slap in the face once in awhile to get on track. Some of you know I wear many hats and play different roles in my community and at home but it can be exhausting to the point it finally took a physical toll. I am taking this month to refocus and structure my time and do what I do best, help others manage their life J I love making others life more calm and easier! Duh that’s why I chose the field I am in. Hello! I am having an ah ha moment. What area’s can you adjust in your life to bring happiness and ease?
Today I am preparing for the busy yet exciting schedule I have made myself in 2012. As I take time to reflect and plan, I think of all that must be done and get truely overwhelmed. Then I remind myself that I just need to focus on one task at a time and worry about the rest later. I have decided to give myself a worry time once a day between 8:30 and 9pm (bath time) and that is the time to worry otherwise I must say "worry about it later". During this time I must find a solution or forget about it until the next worry time. Worrying is a huge time waster but it must be done, only for some it is debilitating. I will not waist time in 2012! This is my first step in my preparations. The next is to set a schedule with deadlines. Even when just personal deadlines are good. We all react better if we start with an end in sight to measure our progress. Nobody like to feel as is they are just spinning there wheels on a daily basis. I am determined to blog here more and would like to here topics that interest you so please feel free to share. My goal is one a week and if I get more great! So the more you give me to talk about the better:) Well I am now off to my next task on my list (updating events). Have a great day everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I know! I know! I need to get on the ball writing on here but I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! My New Years resolution... Post more often :)
P.S. It's snowing here in the desert! We will get a white Christmas!!! So to date I have only been back in town 6 days and things are crazy hectic and oh so good! We are getting back on track and demolishing bumps in the road. With some time away and a lot of business evaluation we are ready to make waves. I do have a lot of hats to wear but I am devoted to making each project just as important as the next. I am excited to say I will be hosting several workshops and speaking engagements in the next few months all while making the products you have grown to love. Working on a holiday line and helping my children start their own line of Natural body products made for kids by kids look for it November 1st. Also on my list I am working on adding a shopping cart to the website, updating it (btw we have a new url www.naturallybalancednm.com), I will be releasing a book soon, working with my new accounts to promote business and filling my roll with Hot Pink Perspective as there Social Media Princess and film guru with AlamogordoLive.net. I met the new owners of Bust Colorado last night. They are very kind and have a great mission that really speaks to my heart. They are aiming to provide local products made by local artist. With an a new Apothecary shop added to the unique home decor at affordable prices and a growing number of local plants I was in heaven! I am so excited to have met the and to announce I will be able sell my Natural Body Care line, hold workshops and meet clients in this wonderful setting right in the beautiful mountains of Colorado when I am in town. Because I grew up in the area and visit often, they are happy to call me local. They even offered me a job if I ever move back. I love my adventures to Colorado! Well I am off for now to back a Peach Cobbler with freash Colorado Peaches. Good day my Naturally Balanced friends :)
Check out Bust on the link below: http://www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/17467 Change can be exciting and overwhelming. We are headed for big changes in our office as we speak. Moving to a bigger space is exciting and frightening. More people are going to be in and out. More responsibility and more craziness in my Naturally Balanced world. I felt compleatly out of control of the situation. But at the same time I think it will add some more balance too. I have had to be strict on making myself understand my gut feelings verses my emotional feeling on this one as I was excited and yet still fighting the idea. So I meditated over this and listened to my body on the choices I had in front of me. On that note I have now adjusted evaluated and am completely EXCITED for the changes. I can't wait to share more later.

This is out of the norm but in my effort to remain Naturally Balanced I must say... I read a lot of blogs and interact with many positive motivated people on a daily bases. Most days negative hateful attitudes don't faze me until it comes from one or two people. I will not name them but if you know me you know whom I am speaking of. I have been reminded that even the most motivated positive people need a nudge but for the most part they know there boundaries so handle it well. I have especially let a few people get under my skin lately and then I read this tip from PositiveWomenRock.com We teach people how we want to be treated by allowing and disallowing. We usually do this unconsciously and then we're surprised at the treatment we receive.
How do you REALLY want to be treated and how many people in your life currently treat you that way? This got me thinking even harder on the subject. We learn through habit and allowance. You would not ask me to let another person treat me this way and would in fact scold me for doing so however you expect me to allow you to speak and treat me in the same ways. Well excuse me but I am no longer going to let you make me feel that way today or any day. A roller coaster will make even the most seasoned rider sick if riding enough times. I say it's time to get off. This is my declaration to you all of you whom try build me up then try to break me down. I will NOT allow you anymore. You can no longer talk negative hateful words to me. The worlds problems are not my fault and neither are yours. This is the life we have been given now what we do with it is a choice. You can be miserable and hateful on your own but you will not make me feel bad for being who I am. I am happy, willing, able, teachable, loving, kind, smart, patient, passionate, helpful and strong. Because I love me, all of me, I must stand up and say excuse me but I will not let you make me feel that way today. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. |
